Kenneth Robert Baird passed away on April 17, 2024, in Baker City, Oregon, after a long illness.  Ken was born in El Paso, Texas, on October 10, 1951, to Robert and Maybelle Baird, and grew up in the Yakima Valley.  He graduated from high school in Sunnyside, Washington, and attended Chemeketa Community College near Salem.  Ken was a construction worker at Bonneville Dam and several other projects in Washington State and Dallas, Texas.  He served as a building inspector...

Wilma Edwards, 91, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away on April 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Wilma was born May 29, 1932 in Lewiston, Idaho. She was raised on a wheat ranch in Pomeroy, Washington, graduated from Pomeroy High School and attended Washington State College.
