Kenneth Robert Baird passed away on April 17, 2024, in Baker City, Oregon, after a long illness.
Ken was born in El Paso, Texas, on October 10, 1951, to Robert and Maybelle Baird, and grew up in the Yakima Valley. He graduated from high school in Sunnyside, Washington, and attended Chemeketa Community College near Salem. Ken was a construction worker at Bonneville Dam and several other projects in Washington State and Dallas, Texas. He served as a building inspector in Washougal, Washington.
He loved his four beautiful daughters and enjoyed nature, especially fishing in the Columbia Gorge. Ken will be missed by his family and his buddies at Settler’s Park Assisted Living Facility.
Ken is survived by daughters Tiffany Baird, Krystyna Requena, and Charlee Baird; his mother; sister, Becky Gaslin; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father; daughter, Kacie, and brother, Jerry. Online condolences can be shared at www.tamispinevalleyfuneralhome.com
