I met Paul last year when I started working at Laurel house here in Ontario , Or. I worked with Paul five days a week, I worked night shift from 12 am-8am I was the one who woke him up did his daily cares every morning and got him dressed and walked him to the living room sat him in his mobile chair and served him his breakfast. Paul loved to talk to me about his loving Family he had and about the bible I let Paul know I grew up in Nyssa and that I attended Nyssa Assembly of God since i was born til i was a teen and he enjoyed listening to my stories and I loved listening to his stories even if they were the same ones. Paul was a very interesting man I always enjoyed Paul every night I came on shift i'd peek in and say hi and Paul would say Oh your here, nice to see you, glad your on shift. He mentioned how he liked the way I cared for him and how I was a good caregiver he always complamented my work. Paul loved his wife and his kids and his grandkids and siblings he always had something good and positive to say about his family. Paul is missed by me and everyday I come to work I still continue to peek into his empty room and I say Aawee Paul ... i know he is in a better place and may God bless the Family ... Sincerly Corina B Rangel

Pastor Gering was a special man. He was always kind and willing to listen to all he
talked with. He loved the Lord and I am sure he was a great pastor. He was very
dedicated to the church and gave messages when he had the chance at Highway
Worship. He really loved his family and he raised a wonderful family. Alberta , Paul Jr and the rest of your family had a wonderful treasure and lots of great memories . We pray for your sorrow but we know you will be with him again
some day. Blessings to you and your family.

Dear Alberta and family, My husband Donavan, Rev Paul and myself were a circle of 3 friends at Laurel Home Care. On Donavan death I took Sunday Idaho Statesman to Paul and assured him each time that I have submitted Prayer for his health, this through Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He thanked me for that and being a friend. His death Sun morn and Donavan brother at noon. My sympathy to all of you in your loss. This has been a tough week for all of our families. I cannot be at his Sunday service but know that I will be there in Spirit and happy that he has been welcomed by our Savior. God Blessings to all the family.
