William “Bill” Andrade died at his home on October 8, 2025 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at their home in Richland. (Date and time to be announced)
Bill and Sharie Kenyon (Purcell) met in high school at El Molino in Forestville, California. They married in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, on January 24, 1976 - they were married just shy of 50 years.
They moved several times making their first home in Santa Rosa, California until 1978, then moved back to California in 1980, living in Penngrove California before they moved back to Richland in 1995. During his life he was a Fire Fighter with Cal- Fire; EMT with Candle Mercy Ambulance; Volunteer with Cotati & Penngrove Fire Dept; San Antonio Volunteer Fire Department; And many others throughout out his life. He also worked with the Baker County Sheriff’s Department 1978-1980; Retired from Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department.
Bill had a passion for Fire departments and trains. With his late mother-in-law Betty Bennett and Jean Bennett, they put together the Eagle Valley Rural Fire Dept in the late 1990’s. The need to repair older fire trucks lead to starting his own Business “AA & L Emergency Fire Repair. He and Sharie did Foster Care for several kiddos for 20 plus years.
Riding a Train anywhere or talking trains with neighbor and Shari’s Uncle - George Allensworth was a great day.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Danielle Andrade 1976-1977 and brother Matthew.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharie; Children Margurite (Rita) and Stacy Luna, Shawn and Sarah Andrade, Joshua and Sarah Braun-Andrade; 9 Grandchildren; 2 great Granddaughters. All the Grandchildren were the love and Pride of his heart. He loved working in the yard, and taking the grandchildren riding on the lawnmower. He is also survived by his brothers Mike, Steve and Alvin Jr.
