Tyler Hunt

Tyler Earl Hunt passed away on April 9, 2023 at his home in Kuna, Idaho. There will be a celebration of
life and potluck in Baker City on June 24, 2023 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Eagles Club 2935 H St .
Tyler was born on December 8, 1987 in Baker City to Tim and Vicki Hunt. Although Tim and Vicki later
divorced, Tyler spent his youth with both parents, dividing time between Boise and Baker City.
Tyler enjoyed spending time at the family cabin or anywhere else on the Brownlee Reservoir. Tyler
enjoyed playing sports throughout school. He enjoyed camping, snowboarding, cooking, music, hunting,
tattoos and spending time with family and friends.
Tyler had a huge heart, but it was also a broken heart that never healed due to the loss of his father in
2008 and his mother in 2009. Even through all his hardships, he always tried to stay positive and love
with his whole heart.
In August of 2020, he met the woman he decided to make his wife. Tyler married Jenny Radford on June
4, 2021. They had big plans for a long and happy life together and Tyler was truly happy that he had
finally found his partner for life.
Tyler is survived by his wife Jenny Hunt of Kuna, ID, step-mom Tammy Sawyer of Granite Falls, WA, step-
dad Tom Rasmussen of Baker City, sister Deana Tarantino and his niece Khloe Hunt of Marysville, WA,
brother Shawn Rasmussen of Baker City, sister Jenica Palmer of Ridgefield, WA, and numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Hunt and his mother Vicki Hunt and many other family and
friends.
Tyler is finally free and at peace. We ask everyone to remember his bright light and contagious smile
that would shine through even in the darkest of times. He will be forever loved and missed.
