Terri Harper, 62, of Baker City, died unexpectedly Friday, March 10, 2023 at her home.
Terri was born January, 13, 1961 in Fontana, California. Her birthday became extra special when she married Brian Carpenter on January 13, 1997.
Terri worked as a Vet Tech at the Animal Clinic for 21 years, grooming dogs and tending to the needs of her furry clients. She was a lifelong Horse woman and loved all things related to horses. Not surprisingly, she was member of the 4-H club where she was able to support her daughter Meghan’s endeavors.
Terri loved being around her grandkids. She adored riding horses with her daughter, mom and granddaughter Bailee. She always looked forward to the summer, so she could be outside with her plants and garden.
Her favorite color was black. She had a fondness for saying “What-Ever”. Terri lived by the philosophy to just be nice to one another. She will be remembered for the way she was with animals and how she touched everyone she met so deeply.
Terri was preceded in death by her grandma and an uncle.
She is survived by her husband Brian Carpenter of Baker City, OR; daughter Meghan Palmer of Baker City, OR; mother Sharon Harper Of Baker City; father Buzz Harper of Keating, OR; sister Jennifer Heydenreide of Baker City, Or; grandchildren Tucker, Bailee, Corbin.
For those who would like to make a memorial donation in honor of Terri the family suggests the Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch (horse rescue for children, healing, and hope) through Tami’s Pine Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PO Box 543, Halfway, Oregon 97834.
