Teresa Watson Obituary

Teresa Randall Watson, 72, passed away November 10, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Teri's Life and potluck (meat will be provided) will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 - 11:00 a.m. at the Richland Grange.

Teresa was born September 19, 1950 to John and Dorothy Randall, and was the oldest of three children.  She attended school in Richland and graduated from Pine Eagle High School in 1968.

She married Jim Watson in 1969 and had sons James Sean Watson in 1970 and Jason Christopher Watson in 1972.  Jim was in the Air Force and during their marriage they lived in Boise, Idaho and Denver, Colorado.

Her career in the nuclear industry took her from Denver to Hanford, Los Alamos, and Nevada, where she retired. She was a dedicated employee and a patriot of the United States energy industry. Many of her accomplishments were unknown to her family due its top-secret nature, but she had many close friends and colleagues everywhere she worked.

She enjoyed painting and crafts, crocheting, and getting together with family.  She donated hundreds of crocheted hats to cancer patients, newborn preemies, and the homeless. She enjoyed shooting with her cousin and son, and was an avid fan of hockey and really enjoyed watching her Colorado Avalanche.  Teri loved camping and skiing in Colorado and Oregon, and staying in her cabin in South Park.  She loved a good game of Sticks with the Aunties and cousins in her beautiful Las Vegas home. Teresa was a wonderful woman who loved and was loved by all she met.

Teresa was survived by sons Sean and Jason (Erin) Watson, her mother, Dorothy Randall, brother Rocky Randall, sister Judy Randall Booker (Arbie), four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, and loved cousins.  Her father, John Randall, preceded her in death.

Services to be announced at a later date.
