Teresa “Terri” Gail Chase (Myers), 56, a lifelong resident of Baker City, Oregon, passed away Friday Morning February 14, 2020 at home with her family, caretaker and her beloved dog “Baby Girl” at her side. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, place and time to be announced.
Terri was born on December 3, 1963 in Baker, Oregon to Glenn R. Myers and Thelma Jean Myers (Thornton). She attended school in Baker and grew up alongside her 7 siblings.
Terri’s pride and joy were here grandchildren Sydney Slobig(20),Keegan Slobig (13)and Ava Osborn(9), Brayden Chase(7), Brianna Chase(2), Charlie Kanalz (2months). Anytime she spent with them were the best times of her life. She also enjoyed using her artistic talents in many different ways including cooking, crafting and painting. She especially enjoyed outdoor activities in the summer months when it was warm and the sun was shining.
Terri was always an advocate for the underdog, a listening ear to anyone who needed and a generous forgiving kind soul. She touched far more people’s lives than she was ever aware of and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents Glenn “Dutch” and Thelma Myers.
She is survived by her children; daughters Brandi Osborn(Myers) and husband Mark, Ashley Chase and partner Jake Kanalz; son, Brandon Chase and partner Carrie Conley all of Baker City; brothers Denny, Steve, Tim and Shane Myers and sisters Glenda Myers, Ronda White and Tina Myers Johnson all of Baker City; numerous nieces and nephews.
