Susan "Sue" Nannette (Petty) Frerichs of Halfway, OR and Tracy, CA passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on July 1, 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health.
Born in Portland, OR on August 17, 1949, Sue attended schools in Los Gatos, CA and San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Commonwealth High School in Puerto Rico in 1967 and planned to go into Social Work, but met and married her husband of 55 years, moved to Tracy, CA, and started their family. Throughout the years, she worked at Tredways Stationary in Tracy, CA and Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA.
In September of 2000, her husband retired and they moved to Halfway, OR where she worked locally at Pine Eagle Clinic for many years.
Susan was a loving wife, amazing mother and supportive and loving friend. She was dearly loved by family, friends and community and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her spouse, William "Bill" Frerichs Sr. of Halfway, OR, her children Jennifer Kirk of Tracy, CA, Emily Frerichs of Baker City, OR and William Frerichs, Jr of Herald, CA, grandchildren Jacob, Julie, Autumn, and Lily, great grandchild, Chloe, and brother Markham Petty of San Diego, CA.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Laura Petty, and brothers John Petty and Sam Petty.
