Sharon Kay Chase, 74, of Baker City, left this earthly realm in lovely fashion style, surrounded by her family on Friday, January, 17, 2025. A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025~ 5:00 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge in Baker City.
Sharon was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1950 in Hillsboro, Oregon to parents John and Edna Hoffman.
She worked various jobs throughout her life including sorting potatoes at Ward Ranches, working at the Big V Department Store, the St. Elizabeth care center and Mayday Inc.
Sharon was a member of the Eagles Lodge and volunteered at the Community Connections Senior Center.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, drawing, playing piano and accordion and listening to Elvis Presley. Her favorite flowers were Roses and Grape Hyacinth. She adored shooting pool, was a master shuffleboard player and loved throwing horseshoes.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband’s Kenny Taylor, Richard Browning, Ronald Culley and Charles Chase; both parents; sisters Linda Taylor and brother-in-law Lary Taylor and Francis Harkness; and several friends.
She is survived by her daughters Monica Browning, and Kimberly (William) Redmond; sons James (Mariia) Taylor, Robert (Kimberly) Browning, Lucas Culley; grandchildren Samantha and Steven Taylor, Jr. Kinney, Kayla Irvin, Richard Lawson, Destiny Redmond; two great grandchildren Jean Gray Irvin and Krista Irvin; brothers John Hoffman, Charles (Barb) Hoffman.
