Sandra Kay (Howard) Broemeling was born on November 26, 1939 to Edgar J. Howard and Jesse Marie (Stokes) Howard in Prairie City Oregon and passed away January 31, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Sandra was the youngest of 4 children.
She met Mark Broemeling in Vale, Oregon and they married on June 6, 1959. While living in Vale they welcomed their first child Donna Rae. They soon moved back to Prairie City to be closer to family. It was there, they had two more children; Donald Edgar, and Helen Denice.
Sandy loved family gatherings and all sports. She particularly loved all things Prairie City Panthers. She graduated from Prairie City High School in 1957. Her children also went to Prairie City High School, she was the best team mom her kids could ask for. Sandra also loved watching her nieces and nephews play their sports.
Sandy's life came full circle as she lived in the same building for the last 10 months that she was born in (Blue Mt. Care Center). Sandy took pride in being a lifelong Grant County resident.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Helen; ex-husband and dear friend Mark Broemeling; parents Ed and Marie; Siblings Jack Howard, Donna Edmonson and Marva Coombs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Prairie City Senior Center on March 16, 2024 at Noon and a lite lunch will be served. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate with stories and conversation.
