Ronald Hinkle

     Ronald Hinkle, 70, of Richland, Oregon died on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Milton-Freewater Health & Rehab Center.

     Ronald was born September 12, 1949 to Ladonna & Robert R.Hinkle. Ron grew up in Portland, Oregon and helped on the family farm until he left home at 27 and moved to Los Angeles, California.
     His family searched for Ron for 3 years until he was found in a monastery with severe head injuries of unknown cause that reduced him mentally to a 5 years old. Ron was brought home to Portland and was cared for by his older brother Bob Hinkle.
Upon passing of his father, brother Bob Hinkle moved Ron and his twin brother Don and brother Dick, along with his mother Ladonna to Richland, Oregon in 2002.
     Ron enjoyed the Powder River and beautiful flowers along with his big screen TV until he suffered a Stroke in 2009.  At that time he was no longer able to be cared for at home and was moved to the Milton-Freewater Health and Rehab Center.  He was given 2 months to live, but Ron proved them all wrong by outliving his mother and twin brother Don and quietly passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.

     Ron is survived by his older brother Robert J Hinkle and his wife Leanne and brother Dick Hinkle all of Richland, Oregon.
