Ron Edwards Jr.

Ron Edwards Jr.  passed on the 18th of March in La Paz County, Bouse, Arizona at his home with is wife April at his side.  Ron had  been diagnosed just 6 weeks ago with cancer. 

Ron was born in Corpis Christi, Texas and at the age of 1, the family  moved to Baker City. He attended school in Baker City and Graduated from Baker High School.  During his school years, he worked at the Baker Bowling Alley which his family owned and operated.  . 

His working career included logging and truck driving, he worked for UPS for a short time, but then went on to and retired from Oregon Department of Transportation in Roseburg, Oregon. 

Ron met April  Pertgen about 4 years ago, they were married in February of 2026 in Arizona. 

He and April enjoyed spending the winters in Arizona and looked forward to working on their home in Richland.  Ron enjoyed riding his side by side, hunting and spending time with family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ron Edwards Sr. and mother Barbara Wyckoff

Ron is survived by his loving wife April; children Jake Edwards, Tyler Edwards and Jessica Haas; 9 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren.
