Ron Alley

     On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, Ron Alley, 88, a loving Father of 5 children passed away in Halfway Oregon at the age of 85. 

     Ron was born on March 22, 1938, in Bend, Oregon. He spent most of his childhood in the Forest Grove area. Ron married Loretta Jean Jordan on April 30th, 1956; they were married for 40 years until her passing. Ron ran heavy equipment for the Oregon State Highway Department for 27 years. 

     In 1997 he met his companion Joyce Reinsch and they later moved to Halfway. Ron enjoyed fishing the Snake and Powder Rivers. He hunted Chukar’s with his bird dogs and spent time gardening. Ron was known for his green thumb and the size and number of potatoes he grew. 

     He was preceded in death by his daughters Roxanne Runion and Diane Kellar

   Ron is survived by his companion Joyce Reinsch, daughter Gloria Cutlip and her husband Brian of Forest Grove, his son Ron Alley and his wife Britney of Forest Grove, and daughter Leora Cubbison and her husband Kelvin of Gales Creek; numerous grandkids and great grandkids.
