Richard Stowe

Richard Stowe, 83, of Baker City and Vale, Oregon died on October 8, 2023 in Payette, Idaho of natural causes. 

Richard Le Roy Stowe was born on September 28, 1940 in Nampa, Idaho.  In his early years he was involved with the family produce business.  Even before he was a teenager he was driving, maintaining, and doing mechanic work on the family truck fleet.  At the age of 19, he started driving trucks for Ore-Ida.  Shortly after starting with Ore-Ida, Dick met Rosalie Harn, the love of his life.

They were married in Nampa, Idaho on March 4, 1960.  Rosalie and Dick had two children, Tammy and Randy.  His passions in life were logging and driving truck.  His occupation of truck driving took Dick and his family to many locations in his life, with his favorite always being Northern Idaho.  Rosalie preceded Dick in death in 1020 and son Randy passed away in a car accident approximately 6 years ago. 

Dick is survived by his daughter Gini who resides in Emmett, Idaho.
