Monty Nicely Obituary

Monty Dale Nicely passed away on November 5, 2023 at her home in Baker City, Oregon.

Monty was born on March 6, 1957, to Polly and Philip Nicely II in Baker City, Oregon and was the youngest of three children. She grew up on the Nicely ranch but discovered a love to travel early on. While she moved around quite a bit over the course of her life, she always came back to Baker as her home. Even in the end.

Monty explored several careers until she began working for Capps Broadcasting and then WICCS Broadcasting where she learned about radio broadcasting. She took her knowledge of radio ad programming and trafficking and started her own business supporting broadcasting companies across the United States and Canada. She operated her business for 15 years.

Monty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Woolery and Philip Nicely III (Pud).

She is survived by three children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
