Margaret Gates

Margaret Gates, 97, of Baker City, OR died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her home surrounded in love. 

Margaret Byrd Gates was born March 18, 1926 in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  She stated, “I don’t want my whole life story in an obituary, just this”. Margaret wrote, “I loved my husband very much.  I loved the family that we raised.  I loved and am proud of every single one of them!  I lived a very good life and want to thank everyone who helped me live this life. Everyone that is important to me knows”.
