Lowell (Sharky) Armon from Lostine died on December 7, 2023, peacefully at his home. He was 83 years old. Lowell was born on September 19, 1940, to Myrtle Weaver Armon and Francis Armon and raised in Wallowa Oregon. He was the second born of 5 children
Sharky's passion was hunting, fishing, wood working, mountain living, playing the guitar, singing, and spending time with family. He worked as a logger for many years and as a meat cutter. Sharky knew no strangers and was loved by many.
Sharky was married to Patricia Crow of Wallowa and together they had three girls; Beckey Armon Oldaker and husband Michael from West Virginia, Patty Armon Cook and husband Bob from Portland, Oregon, and Francine Armon Zerbel and husband Ron from Elgin. The couple later divorced. Lowell remarried years later to Donna Phillips and together they had a blended family. Sharky’s three daughters and Donna's three children; Leanna Gordon from Orofino, Idaho. Tom Kludt of Pendleton, Tim McCrae of Enterprise, and the couple had a child together, Amy Armon Rasmussen and husband Tyson of Pendleton.
Sharky is survived by his sister Kathy Armon Doud of Baker City; brother Dallas and wife Rosina Armon of Perry, his four daughters, stepchildren, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lonnie Armon, sister Mary and Robert Trump of Elgin; brother-in-law Darald Doud of Baker City.
