Lois Dickey

LOIS VERDA DICKEY  was born on December 31, 1926 and passed on March 5, 2023 at the age of 96.  She was preceded in death by her husband Delano Dickey in 2004.  Lois is survived by her children  Lee Martin, Lanelle Graves, Laren Fusman, and Gregg (Sandra)  Fusman and 7 grandchildren.

 She will be remembered as a beautiful lady with dignity and respect.  Lois was very well read, a great cook and always made sure company was well fed and comfortable.  She remained very independent up until the last 2 years or so, living alone in her home and taking care of herself until recently.

Lois enjoyed volunteering in the vitamin department at the Baker Food Coop for many years, answering any questions asked about vitamins, minerals and supplements. Her vast nutritional knowledge, dedicated service, and loving, grateful friends all helped attribute to her long life. 

We thank Memory Lane and her caregivers, Cathy and Dave Turner, for their compassionate help getting her through some rough times.  There will be no funeral as requested by Lois but possibly a Celebration of Life at a later date.
