Linda Lohuis, 77, of Richland, died on May 10, 2024 at St. Alphonsus Regional Hospital in Boise, Idaho. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 - 1:00 p.m. at the Shorthorn Restaurant in Richland, Oregon.
Linda Irene was born on December 8, 1946 in Eubank, Kentucky to Ervin and Marjorie Faw. She was raised, educated and graduated from high school in Kentucky.
Linda met and married Tommye George Lohuis in 1979. They made their home in Hermiston. Linda had attended dog grooming school in Oregon City, when in Hermiston, she started a dog grooming business “Lo-Huis Professional Dog Grooming” which she did for 28 years. Tom and Linda retired to Eagle Valley in 2014.
Linda and Tom shared the love of business and worked together at Tom’s Auto Repair, Ryder Truck Rental, Buffalo Bill’s Karaoke Company, she was on Tom’s Auto Repair bowling team and would be hard pressed to find someone who could beat her at pool.
She enjoyed fishing, and shopping. She didn’t mind spending money, if it wasn’t expensive, it wasn’t good; or if you needed it or not, if it was on sale? buy it.
Linda is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Lisa Vorce of Michigan; granddaughter Cherrelle Dunston, sisters Opie and Betty; brother Wade and his wife Edna Faw, numerous nieces and nephews; and her little yorkies Little bit and spud.
She was preceded in death by her sister Jenny.
