Larry Weems

Larry Dale Weems, 71, died on December 11, 2025 at his home in Richland, Oregon.  He was interred next to his son Thad at Pleasant View Cemetery in Stanfield, Oregon on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Larry was born on April 1, 1954 in Heppner, Oregon.  He was raised and educated in Stanfield, Oregon.  He served in the US Army.  Married Sonja Soiland on December 26, 1972.  During his life he worked as a roofer and a truck driver.  He loved the Lord and told everyone he came in contact with.  Believe is all that's required to be saved.  He loved his family and prayed for them every day and would ask that you pray for your family every day as well.

He is survived by his wife Sonja; children Chad Weems; daughter Randi Weems; siblings Ed, Colleen, Paul Gifford, Frances Gifford, Ron Gifford , Rita Flyg; 12 grandchlidren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Infant son Larry Dale Jr. died in 1975 Joey died in 1976 and Thad Weems died in 1997; grandson Tom; one sister in-law and brother Robert died 11-12-25
