Kenneth Kelly Taylor, 77, passed away February 6, 2023 at St Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. A Graveside Service was held on February 13, 2023~ 2 p.m. (pacific time)at the Unity Cemetery.
He was born February 17, 1945 in Oklahoma to Harry Kelly Taylor and Wilma Ruth Brunmeir.
Kenneth graduated from Hereford Union High School class of 1963. He married his high School sweetheart Betty Stratton September 13, 1963. Though this relationship wasn’t permanent they did have 2 daughters, Yvonne Taylor of Donalds, SC and Toni Taylor of Mountain Home, ID.
Kenneth was a lifelong cowboy and theologian. He loved the outdoors and was in awe of God’s handiwork. He was part of the rodeo circuit as a younger man and due to family obligations hung up his rodeo spurs in exchange for ranching. Kenneth and Betty both drove logging truck and started their own logging company working side by side.
Kenneth went on to remarry Nancy Taylor of Hereford, OR and they ranched together for several years before parting. He remained a rancher and cowboy and his relationship with Jesus grew stronger every day. Kenneth wished to share his love of Jesus with his family and friends and prayed for his family and friends daily.
In addition to his parents Kenneth was predeceased by sister Connie Myers and Nephew Shane Shukle and 1st wife Betty Taylor.
Surviving are his daughters, Yvonne and Toni Taylor sisters; Cheryl and Ron Borello of Sumpter OR, Linda and Arnold Lyle of Melba, ID; nieces and nephews; Robyn and Ferdinand Mordeno, Ryan and Judy Bradford, Tomi Shukle, LaNette and Trey Wilson, Kelly and Rick Dodson, Tracy and Cory Overlin; grandchildren; Amanda McKee, Jarrod McKee, Logan and Ashley Harris; great grandchildren HayDence McKee and Talon Harris.
