Judith Ann Blevins passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the age of 80 due to complications with Steven Johnsons Syndrome at the Grand Ronde Hospital in La Grande. A celebration of life will be planned sometime in the coming months for family and close friends.
Judy was born in Baker, Oregon in 1940. She lived in various locations growing up including Baker, Herford, Unity, and La Grande. After marriage she also lived in The Dalles, Union, Mountain Home, Boise, and of course her home – La Grande.
Judy enjoyed traveling with Bill on many adventures. They spent many years traveling in Bills camper and later in their motor home traversing all the western states, Alberta, & British Columbia, searching out all the great destination sites. She took joy in quilting and made quilts for all of her grandchildren. She so enjoyed her quilting club in Brenda, AZ. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, and reading.
Judy is predeceased by her parents, Jim Dickerson of Baker City, OR and Joella Williams of Boise ID; brother Pat Dickerson; son’s Donald, Mark, & Joseph Curtiss.
Judy is survived by her loving Husband Bill of 39 years; brother Bill (Tammy) Dickerson of Star ID; sister Kay (Vernon) Nikada of Ontario, OR; brother Donny (Dort) Dickerson of Canada; brother Percy (Leslie) Dickerson of Baker City OR; brother Dan Williams of Boise ID; step sister Nancy Endicott; step sister Mary Jo (Bob) Cowing; step brother Mike (Donna) Higgins ; step brother Dick (Debbie) Higgins; Daughter Teresa Curtiss of La Grande; sons Michael Curtiss of La Grande; Jim (Janice) Curtiss of Vancouver WA; John Curtiss of La Grande, 9 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and many other relatives.
