Jean Hall

Jean "Jeannie" Hall (Bolin), 69, of La Grande, Oregon ended her battle with multiple sclerosis on May 25, 2023, at Grande Ronde Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 18, 2023 ~ 11:00 a.m. at the historic Ascension Chapel in Cove, Oregon. Refreshments will follow immediately after.

Jeannie was born to Ralph and Eileene Bolin on August 20, 1953, in La Grande where she lived her entire life. Jeannie graduated from LHS in 1971 where she was known as "Miss Pep" and went on to attend Eastern Oregon College for two years. She worked for Union County for two years and GTE for 22. On July 1, 1979, Jeannie married Clyde "Lou" Hall. They loved to dance, elk hunt, play volleyball, and horseback ride together.

Throughout her lifetime, Jeannie was known for her beautiful long red hair, bubbly personality, bright smile, quick wit, kind-hearted, faith in God, and positive attitude. She enjoyed all things horses, supporting her children's sports and hobbies, playing the keyboard at church, and was a genuine example of God's grace.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Lou; two children, Heather (husband Donny) and Tim (wife Megan); two grandchildren, Xander and Maddox (Tim and Megan); and extended family.
