James "Jim" Kenney Obituary

James A. Kenney, 64, of Baker City, Oregon passed away at his home on Friday, March 9, 2018.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018~11:00 am at Saint Francis de Sales Cathedral in Baker City, Oregon.  

James ‘Jim’ Kenney was born in Skowhegan, Maine on January 5, 1954. The son of Emil and Lula Kenney and son to his beloved step mother Joyce Kenney. Jim Kenney is survived by the love of his life of 25 years, wife Debra Kenney; Daughter Christina, husband Carlos and grandsons Vincent and Jaxson; only son Daniel, wife Shawna and granddaughter Olivia; Daughter Michelle, husband Justin and two grandchildren Brianna and Joshua; Daughter Melissa and first grandson Frankie; Daughter Candace, husband Jason and grandchildren Abbey and Jake; Daughter Andrea and grandson Dimitri; Daughter Jeanette and grandsons Connor and Jared. He is also remembered by his Mother-in-law Carol Lafreniere and his siblings Robert, Kathleen, and David and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by many.

Jim had many interests.  He was a man's man, a deep thinker, an inventor, and a lover of the woods. He appreciated and preferred the simple things. He loved the Lord, his wife and children tremendously and his grandchildren even more.
