Howard Rhoten

Howard Rhoten, 91, of La Grande, OR died on February 8, 2025 at the La Grande Post Acute Rehab.

Howard was born on February 7, 1934 in Hot Lake, OR.  He was raised in North Powder and La Grande OR. Howard graduated from La Grande High School in 1954.

Howard married Judy Campbell in 1965.  They later divorced in 1972. 

Howard worked for Hub City Foods as a clerk. He later worked for and for Eastern Oregon University as a custodian.

Howard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Della and Baxter Bryant-Rhoton, step-father Floyd Bradshaw; sister Macie Rhoton.

Howard is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Eddie) Rogers of Twisp, WA and brother Everett (Thelma) Rhoton; nephews Ricky (Nyla) Rhoton, Scott (Sakis) Rhoton and Kevin (Kim) Rhoton.
