Everett Dennis

Everett Dennis, 79, of Richland, Oregon died on July 12, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho.  A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 - 11:00 at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland, Oregon. 

Everett Dennis was born on December 1, 1943 in Baker City, Oregon to Allen and Opal (Blank) Dennis.  He was raised in Richland, attending Richland Elementary and Eagle Valley High School, graduating in 1962.  He met Deloris Ghrist while in high school and they married on December 5, 1963 in Baker, Oregon..

Everett and Deloris made their home in Richland.  He worked as a logger,  operated a dairy farm for 28 years and then transitioned to raising beef cattle.  He enjoyed being outdoors which included; camping, hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; 1 sister and his 4-legged companions Mike and Shorty.

Everett is survived by his wife Deloris; daughter Keli Dennis and significant other Dan McCarthy of  Wallowa, Oregon ; son Ralph and wife Krista Dennis of Richland; grandchildren: Austin and wife Alissa Dennis and their children Ayla, Angus and Amaia of Richland; Cody and wife Krislyn Dennis and their children Colton and Katie of Richland; Stephanie and husband Emery Gentry and their children Clay and Grady of Weston, Oregon, Tiffanie and husband Trent Bales and their son Collin of Enterprise, Oregon.
