Edgar “Ed” Edwards, 71, died on May 26, 2022 at his home in Richland, Oregon surrounded by his family.
Edgar Lee was born on December 22, 1950 in Scotia, California to Edgar and Wrilda (Hunter) Edwards. He was raised in California, attended Junction City High School in Junction City, Oregon and got his GED while in the Army. Ed met Doris on the football field in Junction City, Oregon. They were married on June 27, 1970 and together had two children. He served in the US Army from 1970 to 1972.
Ed drove truck for Texaco in Sidney, Montana. In 1989 he moved to Richland, Oregon with his family. Ed loved his family and friends very much and he would say “Live Life to the Fullest.”
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother Dave Edwards.
Ed is survived by his wife Doris, daughter Pati and her husband Michael Key of Meridian, Idaho, son Eddie and his wife Christi Edwards of Clovis, New Mexico; 3 grandsons Roddy Key, Michael Edwards & Matthew Edwards; two great grandchildren Livi and Cici Key; Brothers Jerry and Vernon Winton, Doug Edwards and sister Gina Malamphy and numerous nieces and nephews.
