Earl "Hank" Henry Obituary

Hank Henry, 83, of Union, Oregon died on April 28, 2022 at La Grande Post Acute Rehab Center.

Earl A. Henry “Hank” was born on January 17, 1939 in Aztec, New Mexico to Earl and Pearl (Randall) Henry.  He was raised in Oregon and Crescent City, California.  Hank married Nancy Radcliff in 1952, they had two sons together they later divorced but always kept in touch.

Hank worked for Boeing Aircraft, did some ranching and worked construction running heavy equipment; was a body guard for an heiress.   He served 4 ½ year with the Navy and received an honorable discharge. He was most proud that in his life he won a court case, going to the supreme court and because of his tenacity, a law was changed.

Hank would most want to be remembered for being a hard worker.  He is survived by his sons Lonnie Henry of Cove, Oregon and Steve Henry of Salem, Or; brother Gilman Duffy; sisters Alma, Maxine, Bertha and Cheryl and the mother of his children Nancy Radcliff.

He loved living in Union and said “I’ve never met a town like this.” Hank was a unique soul and will be missed by all who were fortunate to cross his path.
