Dusty was a border collie mix, that I adopted in 2018. He had been abused and tortured the first two years of his life. With love and patience he became a happy dog. He would wag his tail and shake his butt when he was really happy about something. It took him a while but he felt safe in his home and yard with me. He got along with my two cats. He died because the vet wouldn't let me bring him in on Memorial Day and he died the next morning before I could take him in. He had been through hell in his life and deserved better. I am hoping he is with my other dogs and cats, happy and playing and when I die he will be waiting for ear scratches and tummy rubs. Dusty you were loved and are missed.
