Donna Woodall Obituary

Donna Kay Woodall (Plush)

Donna passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023.

She was born on June 11, 1946 to parents Willard and Muriel Plush. In March of 1949 the family moved to a farm in Kuna, Idaho.

Donna was the typical farm girl, and helped milked cows, raise a garden and Picked Asparagus that grew wild on the ditch banks, and learned how to can food.

Donna grew up riding horses and competed in play days and field meets, winning many ribbons and trophies on her Black pony “Beauty”. She later competed in Rodeo Queen Contests, riding her Golden Palomino Quarter Horse Mr. Candy Bar, affectionally she just called “Candy”.

In 1964 Donna graduated from Kuna High School.  She married Larry Cox and they enjoyed fishing and racing “Mini Cooper” cars at Meridian Speedway and other northwest tracks. They later divorced.

Donna worked as a bookkeeper for many years and was always good with numbers. She cashiered at Flying J Truck Stop in Boise and eventually learned how to drive an 18-wheeler with her husband Bill.

Eventually, she found the beautiful Valley at Halfway, Oregon, worked around Hells Canyon for Idaho Power, bought an acreage where she resided the past 37 years. Summers were spent mowing the grass, raising a garden and canning. Winter kept her busy shoveling show and hauling wood in the house for her wood stove.

She is survived by her two sisters June Miller and Barbara Daniel; Niece’s Shannon Roesch, Pamela Reyes, nephew Mike Grenz, and Great niece Miranda Reyes.

At her request, no services are being held.  Online condolences may be shared at www.tamispinevalleyfuneralhome.com
