Colinda was born on January 6, 1971 in La Grande, OR.  She was primarily raised and educated in Baker City, OR.  She graduated Baker High school with the class of 1989 and where she was lovingly referred to by her family and friends as “Stubby Leggs”.

Colinda married Chris Millman in 1987, they later divorced in 1989.  She then married Carl Bork in 1991 and they were married until 1999. Colinda found love once again when she married Travis Knight in 2000.  They later divorced 2022.

Her working career included cooking, waitressing and bartending.  However, her true passion was truck driving.  For 14 years, Colinda drove a truck for Behlen’s. She later worked independently with her own semi that she was so proud of.

Colinda lived in many places throughout her life including Hepner and John Day, OR, Anchorage AK, Phoenix AZ, and most recently Childress TX.

She enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Her favorite colors were pink and green and her favorite flower was wild Iris. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

Colinda was a strong woman. Not only was she physically tough when it came to ratcheting down the straps on her long-haul loads by using her entire body, but she also fought cancer and won.

Colinda spoiled her fur babies Rowdy and Bernie.  She had an enormous heart and was always there for everyone.  Colinda will be remembered for her bright eyes, beautiful smile, feisty spirit and her love for life.

Colinda is survived by her sons Steven Millman and Stacey Bork; parents Mary Ellen Jackson and Ray Sondenaa; sisters Cami and Tonya; 7 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins; boyfriend Joey Coulston; Beloved fur-baby Rowdy.
