Christine "Chris" Lawrence

Our beloved Christine Elaine Lawrence, 58,  peacefully left us on January 10,2022. She succumbed to complications arising from heart surgery, stroke and respiratory failure despite extraordinary care at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center. Christine  Lawrence - A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 - 11:00 a.m.  (pst) at Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway, Oregon.

Born to Harriet and Robert Lawrence in Council, Idaho on May 28, 1963,

Chris was their middle child. Whether it was camping or hanging out with friends, Chris lived life to the fullest. After growing up in Council, she attended the University of Idaho in Moscow and later lived in Boise where she worked for Micron. From there, Chris eventually settled in Halfway, Oregon, falling in love with the town, and the town fell in love with her. Halfway became her second hometown where she could indulge many interests. She was an incredible woodworker and DIY-er. She even built a camper and some beautiful ukuleles, which came from learning to play with a local group. An animal lover, Chris enjoyed visiting neighbors while walking her dog Myla who succeeded Opie and Skippy.

Chris is survived by her mother Harriet, sister Wendy (husband Steve),sister Laura (husband Vinnie), niece Debbie, nephews Shawn and Shane, cat Tigger and Myla.
