Charles “Charlie” Robison, 80, of Baker City, died Thursday, April 16, 2020 surrounded by his family. Per his request there will be no funeral service.
Charlie was born February 27, 1940 to parents Charles and Ethel Robison. He was raised and educated in Coquille, OR.
1963 was a significant year in Charlie’s life. It was the year that he married Jaqueline Troyer, and also the year that he joined the Army. Charlie spent his working career in the construction business as a carpenter.
Charlie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, rifle and bow hunting. He also took great joy in gardening, making arrowheads and mining sunstone. He loved coaching his grandsons for little league and football.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Jaqueline Robison.
He is survived by his son Frank Robison; daughters Jill and Anna Robison; sister Geraldine Hills; grandchildren John and Chase Lang; great grandson Hudson Lang.
