Charles Williams Sr. Obituary

Charles Williams Sr., 65, Of Elgin, Oregon, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home.  A Celebration of life  and potluck will be held on July 15, 2018 at noon at the Community Center in Elgin.

Charles was born May 17, 1952 in Aberdeen, Washington to parents Fred and Bonnie Williams.  He was raised all over, eventually graduating from Baker High School in Baker City, Oregon.  Afterwards, Charles did a short stent in the Army.  He was a truck driver for 40 years and did many jobs.

July 15, 2001 Charles married his wife Candy Williams in La Grande, Oregon. A favorite past time they shared together was to sit at the table in the winter and watch the snow fall. He was a loyal fan of the football team the Oakland Raiders and He enjoyed stock car racing.  Charles will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, music, family and his favorite Spanish word that those who knew him best would know.

He was preceeded in death by his parents.

Charles is survived by his wife of 17 years Candy Williams; sons Charles L. Williams and wife Christine, Zane Francke; daughters Rosemary Francke and boyfriend Jason Isaacson, Vera Francke; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson and fur babies Molly and Buster.
