Carol Hammon

Carol Anne Hammon of Baker City, OR passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2025.  Heart & Home Hospice was truly a blessing to Carol and the family.  They provided her with great care, support and friendship in the final year of her life.

Carol was born in Sioux Falls, SD on November 9, 1959, to Robert and Lois Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Through most of her life she was a homemaker.  She loved hummingbirds, gnomes, moose, bears and the outdoors. Painting ceramics was a favorite pastime.  Her greatest joy was gardening, she loved plants of all kinds and they always brought a beautiful smile to her face.  

Carol is survived by her sisters; Lori (CA), Kathy (MT), Letta (ID), her brother Dennis (OR); Her 3 kids Rachelle (AR), Ashley (MN) and Charlie (OR);  Six grandkids’ Lukas (AR), Matt (AR), Grace Anne (AR), Karlie Marie (AR), Brezlin (MN) and Tayla (OR).
