Bonnie Lindstrom Obituary

Bonnie Lindstrom, 79, formerly of Halfway & Baker City, died on Sunday evening in Salt Lake City, Utah.   A traditional graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 - 1:00 p.m. at Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway, Oregon. 

Bonnie Jean Lindstrom was born on April 13, 1945 in Halfway, Oregon to Ira Mike and Zelma Irwin. Bonnie attended Pine Valley High School and graduated in 1963. Bonnie met Keith when he offered to give her a ride home.   The two were married on June 22, 1963 in Halfway, Oregon.  They had two children together; a son Kevin and a daughter Stacy.  Bonnie was a stay-at-home Mom. She enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and mushrooming. Bonnie’s favorite season was spring – she enjoyed the time planting her flowers and garden.  Memorable times in her life included her wedding day and the adoption of her two children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marlene Blank, Sherril Smit, Irene Ralls and husband Keith.

Bonnie is survived by her son Kevin Lindstrom of Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter Stacy Lindstrom of Baker City, Oregon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Her son would like to thank the amazing caregivers at Twin Oaks Senior Living in Salt Lake City who cared for her just as they would their own mother. Her son would also like to thank the amazing caregivers at Canyons Home Health and Hospice for the excellent care they provided to her during the last few weeks and months.
