Andrew "Andy" Greener

Andrew V. Greener, age 70, passed away on May 28, 2023 at home in Halfway, Oregon following a brief illness.  A Catholic Rite of Committal ~ Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 - 1:00 p.m. at Pine Haven Cemetery in Halfway, Oregon

Andrew was born as the third son to Jack L. and Emma Jean Greener on February 14, 1953. He loved his home, the Halfway area, the valley and mountains of home. He enjoyed always taking visiting guests, friends and family mushrooming and huckleberry picking. He knew the mountains well and the best spots for fishing and hunting. Andrew’s favorite activities were hunting and playing his guitars.

Andrew graduated from Pine-Eagle High School and attended Treasure Valley Community College as a Forestry major. He worked for the forest service and various constructions jobs throughout his life, as well as helped on the family farm. He was always there to help when asked. He will be remembered as a loving, son, brother, uncle and great uncle, great-great uncle and friend.

He is proceeded in death by his father, mother, older brother Eldon, brother -in laws Dale Killingsworth and Dan Gullett. He is survived by brother Jack M. Greener, sisters Jeannie Gullett and Mickey Killingsworth, nephew Don Gullett, niece Lisa Quinlan (Trevor) and two grandnieces; three grand nephews; nine great-great grand nieces and nephews as well as many cousins on both sides of the family.
