Alice West Obituary

Alice West died on November 26, 2025 at Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. Alice was born on October 8, 1943 in Prairie City, Oregon to Henry and Leona (Moore) Vancel. She attended school in Dayville and Mt. Vernon, Oregon, graduating from Mt. Vernon in 1961. She married Reese West on April 7, 1962 and they had one son Dwayne.

She enjoyed spending time with her son and family. Alice loved to golf and enjoyed spending time with her companion of 20 plus years Dale Welter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ken Vancel, Husband Reese in 1989 and companion Dale Welter. Online condolences may be shared at www.tamispinevalleyfuneralhome.com
