Ace was big, handsome, loyal and true. He was a protector. Ace loved morning runs with his pack, or a simple walk to the local pub for some good old fashioned people watching. Whether it was a mountain hike, running to the hardware store, or traveling across the state, you could always count on Ace to be ready to go. As long as he was with his family, he was a happy boy!
Ace had a command presence- a nearness that couldn't always be seen, yet continuously apparent. When he wasn't running, romping, or playing, he was content to lie at our feet or lay in the sun on the porch. The world needed Ace, and he was happy to oblige.
There is a huge hole where Ace once was, and he will be missed terribly. Thank you Ace, thank you for teaching us to love wholly and without limits. Thank you for showing us true devotion. May the sun always shine on your face our big boy.
Run Ace, run without pain... RUN. You’ll always be our Bug-Bug…. never forgotten!
