William "Bill" Swan Obituary

William "Bill" Swan, 85, of Richland, Oregon died on April 26, 2018 with his family at his side.

William Crofford Swan was born on July 7, 1932 in Cle Elum, Washington.  He was raised in Cle Elum and then to Troy, Idaho where he graduated in 1951.  Bill met his wife at a dance in Pasco, Washington, they were married in 1958 and had 3 children.  He served in the Army 1951-1952 and later the Army National Guard. During his life he worked for 25 years as a logger in the Lewiston, Idaho Area's.  He later drove truck local for Baker Trucking and long haul for Interstate Trucking. His favorite phrase was "what's for supper?" 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, sister Margaret and granddaughter Madison Lynn Taylor.

Bill is survived by his wife Billie of 60 years, children Susan and Mitchell Taylor; Dan and Shanna Swan; Craig and Katia Swan;  grandchildren  Karson and Maison Taylor, Ryan and Tyler Swan; Christopher and Faith Swan.,William, Tania; brother David and his wife Darlene Swan;  several nieces and nephews.
