Mento Cowan

This is the Cowan Family's memorial for Mento the kitty.

Mento came into our lives 8 years ago on a cold June night. We found him with three other litter mates and rescued them from a uncertain life. Mento came home with us at 1 day old and we all played our part in nurturing him and his litter mates back from their rough start out on that cold night. Unfortunately two of his brothers died within two days. The only other one left besides him that survived with him was Wagner. Wagner was his best friend. They played together everyday and sometimes took naps together. After eight years we all came know Mento best as a sweet, loving, talkative and protective ball of fluffy fur. He would always find a way to cuddle up next to any one of us when he wanted to get some love and attention. He would also come when he was called or he would come every time we whistled. He loved kitty treats, fluffy toy mice and getting his chin scratched. When it came time (in his mind) to defend our home he would always let the neighbor cat know through the window, he was not to mess with his family. Mento was a one of a kind cat that anyone would love to have in their lives.

We love Mento so much and he will be missed dearly.
