Marie Noble Obituary

 

 Marie Noble, 82, of Baker City, Oregon died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at home with her family by her side.

Marie Helen was born on March 28, 1937 in Los Angeles, California to Ulrich and Louise Press.  She was raised in San Diego and graduated from San Diego High School in 1955.  She married Dick Noble and they had one son Todd Robert Noble.  Marie worked for Dave Martin Sand and Gravel Company for many years in Southern California.

She enjoyed reading, watching old movies, roses, her special lil' four legged companion "Bailey," the San Diego Chargers and the Seattle Sea Hawks.  Marie's favorite saying was "I have a need to know."

Marie moved to Baker City in the Early 90's making her home on Church Street.   When her health began to decline, she moved in with the Howerton's out near the airport.  These last few years, she has lived with her son Todd and his wife Carri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Bob Press and grandson A.J. Noble.

Marie is survived by her son Todd and his wife Carri of Baker City, Oregon; grandchildren John Gibbs, Tia Gibbs, Jason Gibbs, Justin Gibbs, brothers Dick Press and Jerry Press; sisters Shirley Kuebler and Marilyn Taylor.
