Lou Anne Obershaw-Smith, 58, died on May 3, 2018 at her home in Baker City, Oregon with her family and close friends at her side. A Graveside Service and Celebration of Lou Anne's Life will be held at a later date (time and date to be announced.
Lou Anne was born on April 6, 1960 in Baker City, Oregon and lived in Baker City all of her life. She married Tommy Smith on July 9, 1983 in Baker City. Lou Anne worked as an in home care provider.
She loved to visit with family and friends, and sharing ol' stories. Her favorite color was purple and she enjoyed crocheting. Lou Anne will be remembered most for her friendliness and love for everyone.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents Henry and Helen Obershaw; sisters Linda Delacru and Jane Ann Estes
Lou Anne is survived by her daughters Amanda Shepherd and Meliss Smith Dakota; son Josh Smith; Brothers Tom Turner, Michael Garborino both of Baker City, DeWayne and Denise Obershaw of Arizona; sister Lana Millman and Barbara Turner of Baker City; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
