Lora LaVerne Booth Obituary

Lora Booth, 90, died on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Royal Villa in Payette, Idaho.

Lora "LaVerne" Booth of Payette passed away on November 6, 2018 at the Royal Villa Care Center in Payette, Idaho.  A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 - 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Payette, Idaho.

LaVerne was born on October 30, 1928 in Vermillion, Kansas to Marriel and Sylvia Stowell, she was the 4th of 6 children.  She graduated from Vermillion High School on May 22, 1946.  Later that day she married Ira "Dale" Booth.  Lora worked for a Doctor until they moved to Payette in 1957.

LaVerne and Dale were married 71 years the biggest blessing in their lives were their children Beth and Kenneth and their grandchildren. LaVerne and Dale always enjoyed raising a big garden, and would share the bounty with family and friends.   She was a great cook and enjoyed having her family together for dinners. 

Lora is survived by his son Ken and his wife Colleen Booth, daughter Beth and Ron Yano, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Coons, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Booth, brother Claude Stowell and sister Vivian Peterson.
