Thank you all so much for sharing Joe with me and with us all. He was truly a treasure and a sweet friend. God is laughing a lot more now that He has Joe telling him jokes. Joe and you all are i my prayers.

Joe, you often had me guessing with your sly puns! I loved Julie's comment that you would never live in snow country, but did for 60+ years! It also struck me that you lived with the inconvenience and probable pain of your artificial leg for so long, with never any complaint. (I never knew how or when you lost your leg.)
The photo really does you justice! RIP, dear Joe!

Miriam and Family,
Our Lord has now taken Joe home and has left us fond memories Joe created for us to remember. He was a true family man, devoted and strong, an honored veteran and kind soul. I smile when I think of his sense of humor and playing his harmonica. He was a man of many talents. We offer our sincere sympathy to all your family.

Joe Omann was one of the finest gentleman I ever met and was privileged to know. He was a man of high moral character and the strictest code of ethics. He and Miriam raised seven children to be good citizens and contributing members of their communities. He truly was a source of inspiration to me as he lived his Catholic faith which we both shared. My deepest condolences to Miriam and the entire extended Omann family. He will truly be missed.
