Jerry Duncan Obituary

 

In Loving Memory of Jerry Duncan who was born in "windy" Haines, Oregon on December 17, 1938.  He was raised in the Baker County area and graduated from Baker High School in 1957.  Susan Compton wife of 60 years. 

 The highlight of Jerry's life was ranching. He enjoyed cattle drives, being a good neighbor, going for coffee and driving his red truck.   Jerry loved spending time and making memories with his family, most especially at the Duncan family legacy property, including the "80" up Muddy Creek.  Time spent their included camping, picnic's, getting wood, horseback riding or finding the perfect Christmas tree.

 Pixie McKnight and Trina Duncan are his pride and joy daughters.  Their endearing name for him was "Pappameanie."  He was proud of  his grandsons Whitney, Austin and his wife Katrina and Samuel McKnight. He enjoyed his great grandchildren Ayden, Veda, Micah and Byron McKnight;  brother Tommy Duncan and many other extended family.

 Jerry loved his cows, horses and critter grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his adoring family and his devoted cow dog "Dot."

 Jerry died on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at his home in Halfway, Oregon with his family at his side.  A Family Gathering will be held at a later date.
