Freeda Swafford

Freeda Swafford, 82, formerly of Richland, Oregon, died at her home in Hood River, Oregon on November 4, 2018.  A private family interment will be held at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland, Oregon at a later date.

Freeda Orcella (Short) Swafford was born October 1, 1936 in Mt. Pine, Arkansas.  Her family moved to southern Oregon in 1947, then to Hood River, Oregon in 1955.

Freeda had a strong Christian faith and had friends from school who all kept in touch.  Before she married Keith Swafford she worked at the First National Bank in Hood River.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith and three brothers.

Freeda is survived by her daughter Tammy Pridgen of Hood River, 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; many nieces and nephews.   

We will miss her greatly but are so relieved that she is now with her husband of 54 years.  See you soon Freeda!!!!!
