Curtis McEwen, 56, of Baker City, died at his home on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. There will be no funeral service.
Curtis Eugene was born June 4, 1962 to parents Carroll and Cleowa McEwen in Yreka, California. He attended school in Yreka where he later graduated.
Curtis continued to live in California and spent his time working as a Parts Salesmen in the automotive industry.
In 2012, Curtis moved to Baker City, Oregon and for a time worked at Napa Auto parts. Curtis loved fishing and playing with his dog “Buzz”. Each morning he took joy in going for coffee with his friends and neighbors. It was a treasured ritual that he would not miss.
Curtis was preceeded in death by his father Carroll McEwen.
He is survived by his mother Cleowa McEwen; brothers David and his wife Bow Lynne McEwen, Steve and his wife Vicky McEwen; sister Janice McEwen; nieces and nephews Brittany, Christopher, Harlee, and Herman McEwen.
