Chief Gibbs

May 2008 ~ January 2018

Chief was the best dog in the world, he was more than that, he was my best friend! He was always ready, willing and wanting to play, no matter what it was. One of his favorite things to play with was a balloon, him and I would play together and try to keep it off the ground and he would jump and push it back into the air with his nose. He really was my best friend, we did EVERYTHING together. He was very protective but he still loved to have fun. He was the Houdini of dogs... it took forever for us to figure out how he would get out of his kennel... he would lick the lock until it popped open. Chief loved going to the mountains and to the river, he did not like to swim but he loved the water. Chief was always happy and excited especially when I would come home or if he got to go for a ride somewhere. Everyone that met Chief loved him and if he trusted you, he loved you too.
 Chief, I know you are in a better place, but we still need you. I miss you and so does everyone else. I hope you are with your parents now. I will never forget you and it will be hard to figure out how to do things without you but I know you are out there watching over me.
